Praaach (Pracheta Rao) is a Mumbai-born singer-songwriter who writes about being from two places and never quite all the way in either. Her music threads English indie-pop with Hindi-language lyricism — confessional, melodically generous, lyrically careful. After a self-released bedroom EP in 2020 (Voice Notes Vol. 1, 40k streams in a month), she signed to The Pariah Kite in 2022, where she met producer Anand Bhaskar and began co-writing what became the Soft Animal EP (2024) and now Zard — her debut full EP, out 14 November 2026. She has played NH7 Weekender, Magnetic Fields, Sofar London, Bandland, and the G5A Foundation.
